Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement.
The initial placement is for 6 months in the Mental Health Rehabilitation Service, following which successful candidates will rotate through other posts in line with training and service requirements, for the term of contract of 3 years.

About the Role
Be part of a transformative mental health initiative at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). The MHRS at TQEH offers evidence-based, high-quality rehabilitation services tailored to the needs of consumers across the CALHN catchment.
In this role, the Psychiatry Registrar will collaborate with inpatient, community, and rehabilitation teams to deliver person-centred, trauma-informed care that supports recovery and community integration. Working within a multidisciplinary team and under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist, you’ll play a key role in enhancing consumer wellbeing, promoting independence, and driving positive outcomes. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to service development, continuous quality improvement, and clinical education in a modern, purpose-built facility.

Registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner, and a strong foundation in medical and mental health practice.
