Join SA Health's Exceptional Allied Health Team – Occupational Therapist!

SA Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our exceptional allied health team at the Mt Barker Hospital within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (LHN) based in the picturesque Adelaide Hills.

In this Part time, Temporary position, you will have the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise, generalist and/or specialist knowledge, and professional competence to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive range of services tailored to the needs of our local community.

Working under reduced clinical direction, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and service providers from various sectors, utilising a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches in the inpatient setting.

Your role will involve contributing to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants, and students, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for professional growth.

To be successful in this role, you must possess an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification that entitles you to registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. You must also fulfill all requirements to achieve and maintain current registration. Demonstrating AHP2 level competencies or holding a 2-year post-graduate Master's degree with a related allied health undergraduate degree is essential.
