Are you a highly skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for supporting older people to live with dignity, independence and quality care? We’re looking for a Nurse Practitioner Candidate (NP/NPC) to join Wallaroo Hospital and Health Service and provide expert leadership in the field of Geriatric Medicine.
This is a unique opportunity to deliver advanced clinical care while developing your scope as a future Nurse Practitioner. You’ll work with autonomy, lead clinical decisions, contribute to service design, and mentor others in a multidisciplinary team focused on hospital avoidance and positive ageing.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver expert, person-centred geriatric care and discharge planning

Contribute to clinical leadership, research and service improvement

Support clinical protocols, governance and quality initiatives

Undertake a Nurse Practitioner Master’s program or equivalent
What We’re Looking For:

Registered Nurse with relevant postgrad qualifications in Geriatric Nursing

At least 3 years post-registration experience

A compassionate, collaborative leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills
