About the role

AHP-2  We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join our dynamic team, where you will independently perform a variety of diagnostic procedures across Echocardiography, Electrophysiology, cardiac catheterisation/intervention, ambulatory monitoring, and pacemaker assessment. This diverse and rewarding role also involves more advanced tasks including stress echocardiography, implantable defibrillator analysis, 3D electrophysiology, and device checks in remote clinics. You'll have the opportunity to train and support fellow staff, contribute to service excellence, and assist in emergency on-call situations—making a real impact on patient care in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

AHP-3  We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Cardiac Physiologist to join our dedicated cardiology team. In this vital role, you’ll independently perform a range of complex diagnostic tests, including cardiac catheterisation, electrophysiology studies, transoesophageal and stress echocardiography, ambulatory monitoring, and the in-clinic and remote management of cardiac devices such as defibrillators and loop recorders. You'll also play a key leadership role, providing day-to-day supervision and professional support to the cardiac physiology team, while contributing to rostering, stock management, protocol development, quality improvement initiatives, research, and clinical trials. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or health related field: and either
    • Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Sonography (or Equivalent); and
    • Registration as an Accredited Sonographer as administered by the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) or its equivalent.                     OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science or health related field: and
    • Graduate Diploma of Cardiac Electrophysiology (or its recognised equivalent): or
    • Equivalent skills acquired from extensive training and/or experience, as approved by the relevant delegate.
