About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the 3D Health team as a Nurse Consultant, where you will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical nursing expertise for specified individual clients within Disability, Development, Diverse Health (3D Health), whilst supporting the Access Assistant Program (AAP) Medical Consultant.
- Supporting children/young person in education settings (kindergarten- yr12) statewide, who live with disability and/or complex health conditions.
- Coordination and leadership of projects and/or programs that contribute clinical expertise to improve patient/client/service outcomes
- Providing education support in a specified and/or training portfolio
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to cope in situations where there is high emotional load.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential.
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post registration experience.
- Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards and in at least two of the relevant following areas; paediatric, community, disability or complex health
