About the role: 

Reporting to the DRS Manager & Physiotherapy Director, this role is responsible for ensuring optimal care and outcomes by providing a comprehensive range of therapy services to patients receiving supported early discharge and home rehabilitation. Duties for the role will include:

  • Assessing patients' physical abilities, problems, and goals using a variety of formal and informal assessments, 
  • Documenting assessment findings and interventions, 
  • Monitoring the levels and types of EP services required by Ambulatory Rehabilitation

About you:

  • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, usually in human movements, inclusive of the exercise physiology elective and eligible for accreditation from Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA),
  • Ability to critically analyse or evaluate issues related to Exercise Physiology care in a manner which can be applied to quality activities, service evaluation, professional education or research with a commitment to ongoing professional development, 
  • Experience as a clinician in the assessment and provision of high-quality rehabilitation to clients with a variety of neurological and/or orthopaedic conditions
