Overview:

The primary purpose of the role is to coordinate and deliver Data Governance and Integrity activities for designated DAI Data Assets (EDA) including data validation, supporting users, and maintaining data integrity that capture the care provided to patients and clients in South Australia public and private hospitals and associated facilities.   In this context the position will operate as a subject matter expert for an assigned primary and secondary EDA in domains such as: Admitted Patient Care; Emergency Department; Non-Admitted Patients; Sub-Acute; Elective Surgery; and Safety Learning Systems.

The role identifies and maintains data that is aligned with quality assurance standards to ensure accurate and useful departmental and national statutory reporting and informed clinical improvement, funding and demand management decision making. The position also Chairs EDA Community of Practice meetings to create opportunities for identifying EDA improvements, share information and foster relationships with users across LHN and Statewide mDAIcal service sites.
