About the role
Classification for this position will be determined based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate, aligning with either an AHP1 or AHP2 level. As a Radiographer, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical imaging services, performing diagnostic radiographic examinations using specialised equipment to support patient care across a range of clinical specialities.
At the AHP1 level, you will undertake standard imaging procedures with growing professional independence. At the AHP2 level, you will perform more complex radiographic work with minimal direction, while also providing guidance to junior staff and students. You will have the opportunity to contribute to quality assurance initiatives and approved research programs, all within a supportive and progressive healthcare environment.
About You
You are a capable and experienced radiographer with a strong clinical foundation and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality imaging services. You excel both independently and within multidisciplinary teams, and you’re adaptable, resourceful, and proactive in supporting departmental improvement.

Skilled in performing a broad range of complex radiographic procedures with minimal supervision, tailoring techniques to patient condition.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships and contribute to staff and student development.

Sound knowledge of radiation safety, RIS/PACS systems, medico-legal responsibilities, and cultural sensitivity in service delivery.

Proven experience in quality assurance, safety protocols, and contributing to departmental improvement initiatives and compliance with relevant legislation.
