Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families? We are seeking dynamic and dedicated Speech Pathologists to join our team to deliver high-quality, client-centred care in a vibrant, multidisciplinary environment.
About the Role
As a valued member of our Allied Health team, you will contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services tailored to the needs of our local community. The role is based within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and supports clients across the continuum of care using prevention, early intervention, therapy, and evaluation strategies.
Depending on your level of experience, you may be appointed at either the AHP1 or AHP2 level:
AHP1 – Early Career Speech Pathologist
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Speech Pathologist, you will provide evidence-based services to clients, gaining experience and developing clinical skills within a supportive environment. You will work across a paediatric caseload, including speech, language, and communication needs.
AHP2 – Experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist
As an experienced clinician, you will work under reduced supervision and apply your generalist and/or specialist knowledge in paediatrics, including a significant caseload in paediatric feeding. You will contribute to clinical supervision of less experienced staff and students and may lead service development initiatives in line with best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, client-focused speech pathology services.

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including other health professionals, educators, and service providers.

Contribute to case planning, goal setting and service evaluation.

Maintain accurate documentation and participate in data collection and reporting.

AHP2 only: Provide clinical support and mentoring to junior staff and students.
About You

AHP1: You are a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong commitment to learning and collaboration.

AHP2: You are a confident, autonomous clinician with experience in paediatric speech pathology and a strong interest or experience in feeding.

You demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You have a client-centred approach and are passionate about improving outcomes for children and families.
