- Role is based in the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN), Elizabeth Vale SA, 5112
- This role will provide clinical services to the Medical Assessment and Planning Unit (MAPU)
- Part Time, Ongoing Role working 37.5 hours per fortnight
- Applicants must be available to work fixed days on Sunday, Monday, alternate Tuesday
- Applicants must be available to be rostered between the extended hours of service from 7am to 7pm (maximum shift hours will be 7.5 hours per day), with rosters released in advance
- Training and credentialing for Partnered Pharmacist Medication Prescribing (PPMP) will also be required as part of this role
About the role
As the Senior Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the organisation, management, and day-to-day operations of a designated pharmacy area, delivering a high-level, comprehensive range of pharmacy services. You will apply independent clinical judgement to provide expert therapeutic advice and medicines information to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and professional pharmacy standards.
This pivotal role focuses on optimising patient outcomes through the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of pharmaceuticals. You will play a key role in implementing strategies that support the quality use of medicines, contributing to the ongoing improvement of clinical service delivery in a dynamic and multidisciplinary hospital environment.
About You
ou are a highly competent and experienced pharmacy professional with a strong background in hospital practice. Your leadership, communication, and analytical skills support your ability to deliver high-quality services and lead continuous improvement within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Extensive hospital pharmacy experience with proven leadership and supervisory capabilities.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and data analysis skills, with the ability to manage complex tasks under pressure.

Demonstrated ability to lead service delivery improvements, educate staff, and work collaboratively across teams.

Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practice standards and codes, with a commitment to safe and effective patient care.
