    • $29.11 - $29.41 per hour + 25% casual loading | WHA3
    • $29.70 - $30.01 per hour + 25% casual loading | WHA4

Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either a WHA3 or WHA4, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

 

Join Our Team as a Direct Care Attendant (Residential): Provide Compassionate Support to Our Residential Care Home Residents

Are you passionate about delivering hands-on, person-centered care? We’re looking for a caring and reliable Direct Care Attendant (Residential) to assist residents of our Residential Care Home. This important role works closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest quality support and care.

About the Role:

The Direct Care Attendant (Residential) is responsible and accountable for providing direct client services to residents in the Residential Care Home. You will work under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, collaborating with health professionals to support residents’ wellbeing and daily needs. Your role contributes to a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where residents can thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

WHA4

  • Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
  • Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
  • Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages eg. Microsoft Word, Excel.

WHA3

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:

  • DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker
  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
