Overview:
For ASO6:
The Contract Manager - Health Services is responsible for:
- Coordinating and undertaking the planning, implementation and review of contracted Health Services ensuring value for money is realised, contracts deliver required outcomes and risks are appropriately managed across the Department for Health and Wellbeing.
- Managing, monitoring and reporting on service provider performance against contract key performance indicators, including developing appropriate working relationships with contracted Health Service providers to ensure contracted services are delivered in line with State Government and Departmental Contract Management frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Engaging with Department Executive, management, staff and clinical SMEs, providing expert advice to complex procurement, tendering, contract formation and contract management processes, and contributing to the implementation of SA Government reform initiatives ensuring that state-wide contracted health services achieve and maintain high quality services.
For ASO7:
The Contract Performance Manager – Health Services is responsible for:
- Leading the planning, delivery and evaluation of contracted Health Services ensuring value for money is realised, contracts deliver required outcomes and risks are appropriately managed across the Department for Health and Wellbeing.
- Comprehensively managing and reporting on service provider performance against contract key performance indicators, including developing appropriate working relationships with contracted Health Service providers to ensure contracted services are delivered in line with State Government and Departmental Contract Management frameworks, policies and procedures.
- Engaging with Department Executive, management, staff and clinical SMEs, providing expert advice to complex procurement, tendering, contract formation and contract management processes, and significantly contributing to the implementation of SA Government reform initiatives ensuring that state-wide contracted health services achieve and maintain high quality services.
Appointment to Classification will be based on skills/experience.

Criminal History Screening Requirement
