  • Fixed-term contract for 6 months initially, with possibility of extension
  • Base location: Eastwood, SA  5063
  • Salary: $98,478 – $104,475 p.a. + super + NFP salary packaging of up to $11,660 p.a.

SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) is seeking a HR Business Partner to join our collaborative HR team. You'll work closely with operational leaders who are committed to building supportive, high-performing teams—and help them achieve their goals through strong people practices.

About the role

  • Partner with leaders to resolve workplace issues and support team performance
  • Provide tailored advice on conduct, conflict resolution, performance improvement, and culture
  • Use emotional intelligence and professional judgement to de-escalate issues and influence outcomes
  • Draft high-quality correspondence and reports
  • Provide advice on employee relations matters to ensure they are managed in line with relevant legal principles and support positive employee engagement
  • Contribute to workforce initiatives that strengthen capability and leadership

About You

To be successful you will bring:  

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • High emotional intelligence and sound judgement
  • Solid written communication, including the ability to draft professional documentation
  • Understanding of conduct processes and conflict resolution
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a heavy workload with competing priorities
  • Experience as a HR Advisor or Consultant (or similar)
  • Tertiary qualifications (or significant progress) in HR, Psychology, Management or a related discipline
  • Experience within Public Sector is not essential however some exposure to health care would be advantageous
