  • Salary  ASO-2  $58,709 - $63,154 p.a.  (pro rata) + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits
  • Temporary up to 31/7/26 and part-time working 7.5 hours per week 

About the Role

Provides administrative and project-based support to the Rheumatology Unit and staff which contributes to the smooth operation of the Rheumatology research activities. This will involve assisting with the coordination and maintenance of projects, organisation of patient visits, correspondence, administrative tasks and the collection and entering of data into specialised clinical databases. The role is varied and involves a high level of organisation, oversight and documentation of clinical research data. This entails using a teamwork approach, the ability to work independently to ensure that all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

You are a professional and dependable administrator with a strong focus on confidentiality, communication, and high-quality support services. Your mature and friendly manner, coupled with strong organisational skills and initiative, ensures smooth daily operations in a fast-paced clinical setting.

  • Proven experience in medical administration with advanced typing and computing skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a mature and discreet approach

  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines under pressure, and work independently

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and understanding of confidentiality requirements
