About the role: 

Reporting to the Senior Administration Officer, some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Supporting staff in the collection, analysis and presentation of data for research, project publications or grants
  • Assessing, developing and implementing systems with a view to providing continuous improvement
  • Providing keyboard and reception services, co-ordinating appointment diaries
  • Responding to routine and more complex enquiries from all staff groups, patients, visitors, external professional groups and other institutions and agencies
  • Supporting other secretaries within the Division by assisting with administrative duties

About you:

  • High level of personal organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Typing speed of minimum 60 wpm
  • Experience in developing, maintaining and controlling appropriate records and filing systems
  • Experience in use of computers and software applications including e.g.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
