About the Role

As the Team Leader, Support Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of support services within a rehabilitation care setting. You’ll be responsible for leading a dedicated team of Support Services Officers and security staff, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, patient-focused services that support clinical care. Your ability to coordinate and schedule daily work routines will be key in maintaining service excellence, ensuring that support staff and cleaners can carry out their duties effectively and efficiently.

You’ll foster a positive culture of cooperation and shared responsibility, helping your team respond quickly and confidently to the dynamic needs of patients and healthcare professionals. About you

You are a capable and motivated professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting high-quality healthcare services. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring practical problem-solving abilities, and are committed to maintaining safe, clean and secure spaces for patients and staff.

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Health Support Services or Certificate III in Aged Care or Disability with relevant team leadership experience

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and support a multidisciplinary team while managing workloads under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on collaboration and service

  • Sound knowledge of infection control, cleaning, security, transport and waste management practices in a healthcare setting

  • Previous experience in supervising, using a computer and Microsoft programs.
  • Previous experience working in a health care setting.
  • Ability to communicate appropriately verbally and in writing. Interact effectively in all situations with patient's, relatives, visitors and staff.
