Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? Limestone Coast LHN is seeking dedicated individuals to provide exceptional home support services in the South East region.
About the Role: As a Home Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Housekeeping: General cleaning and tidying to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
- Laundry: Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linen.
- Shopping: Helping clients with grocery shopping to ensure they have everything they need.
Home Helpers need to be flexible, conscientious and empathetic and be able to work autonomously in the community. They will work closely and collaboratively with clients, their families and other health professionals, to provide quality outcomes and maintain consumer independence where possible. Limestone Coast LHN supports its staff to further develop their skills across a variety of areas. Ongoing education is encouraged and enables staff to provide quality and responsive services to consumers.
About You
With a flexible approach to work and rostering systems, you will have the ability to perform tasks under general direction. Your sound interpersonal and communication skills will give you the ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances. Along with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality, you will display empathy towards the elderly and the disabled, and be willing to develop a positive rapport with clients.
