About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in upholding the highest standards of data quality and patient choice. In this role you will ensure that all admitted patients make an informed decision as to their right to be treated as a private or public patient.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • engaging with patients to facilitate informed decision-making regarding their preferred healthcare provider
  • liaising with relevant private health funds
  • meticulously maintaining and auditing patient data to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with regulations
  • identifying and addressing data quality issues, implementing corrective measures to enhance efficiency and patient care
  • providing guidance to staff on data entry procedures and patient election protocols
