About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced clinical professional to join our Cancer Program team in a pivotal quality and safety role. As a key adviser to senior leadership, you will use your clinical expertise to support patient safety, risk management, and business improvement initiatives, with a particular focus on achieving and maintaining FACT/JACIE accreditation. You will play a central role in shaping safe and effective clinical service delivery, supporting the management of systems and resources to ensure best practice standards are consistently met.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through robust quality systems and accreditation frameworks. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating quality improvement projects, providing strategic advice, and supporting cross-functional teams. Your accountability will extend across a defined portfolio, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in cellular therapy services.
About you
You are a highly experienced and motivated Registered Nurse or Midwife with a strong commitment to quality and leadership within healthcare. You bring a creative, flexible approach to problem solving and excel at fostering a positive workplace culture that supports staff development and continuous improvement.

Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA, holding a current practising certificate, with extensive post-registration experience.

Proven leadership skills with strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.

Demonstrated experience in quality management, including planning and implementing clinical standards and audits, ideally in cell therapy or transplantation.

Sound knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and quality improvement systems, with a track record of applying legislation, policies and standards in practice.
