About the role:
Duties for the role will include:
- Provide high-quality evidence-informed psychological assessment, differential diagnosis, and treatment interventions for consumers with complex mental health needs.
- Provide expert consultancy and guidance for the multidisciplinary team regarding psychological issues relevant to the treatment and rehabilitation of consumers.
- Contribute to the strategic planning, development, and continuous improvement of mental health rehabilitation services.
- Provide professional supervision and clinical leadership to designated staff and provisional psychologists.
- Engage in clinical research and evaluation activities relevant to mental health rehabilitation.
About you:
- Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia as a Psychologist with endorsement in Clinical Psychology and Board-Approved supervisor status (or willing to obtain)
- Significant experience as a Clinical Psychologist working with consumers with complex mental health needs in a rehabilitation or acute mental health setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based psychological theories and interventions relevant to mental health rehabilitation.
- Understanding of relevant legislation, standards, codes, ethics, and competency standards for psychological practice.
