WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
Join the Southern Fleurieu Community Mental Health Team based in Victor Harbour as a Nurse Consultant in a full-time, ongoing role with Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. This senior nursing position offers you the chance to apply your expert clinical mental health knowledge to lead, innovate, and improve consumer outcomes across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings. You’ll work autonomously within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, contributing to policy development, clinical leadership, and the ongoing growth of nursing practice in a beautiful regional community.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Provide expert clinical mental health nursing care and case management for a defined consumer group
- Lead and support nursing staff through mentorship, supervision, and role modelling best practices
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, safe, and recovery-focused care
- Promote culturally appropriate engagement with Aboriginal consumers and support community mental health needs

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?

- You will be required to hold registration with AHPRA to practice as a Registered Nurse within our organisation and hold a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
