About the Role:
As the Fleet Administration Officer based at Port Augusta Hospital, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth coordination of transport and patient services across the site. You'll be responsible for managing daily vehicle bookings for hospital staff, preparing monthly fleet usage reports, and overseeing the coordination of replacement vehicles. Your strong administrative, data entry, and customer service skills will support a fast-paced and dynamic team.
In addition, you’ll contribute to a range of essential hospital operations—supporting the medical records service, assisting with switchboard duties, and managing critical internal and external communications. This includes monitoring alarms, activating emergency procedures, and operating paging and public address systems. Your attention to detail will ensure the accurate registration of inpatients, outpatients, day patients, and emergency cases—making a meaningful impact on the patient journey from the moment they walk through our doors.

About You:
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of a clerical/administrative support service, including the maintenance of records and systems.
- Demonstrated experience in office procedures and office equipment (i.e. photocopier, printers, facsimile, etc)
- Demonstrated experience in the use of computer-based resources (i.e. Microsoft Office, email, Excel, data entry)
