Overview:
- The Program Group Manager, Digital Health is responsible for leading the delivery of end-to-end project management services across the whole New WCH Project lifecycle for the Digital Health Workstream as part of a critical, complex and large technical project. The role ensures the implementation of effective and efficient business and project solutions based on best practice for the Project by directing and ensuring effective integration with current ICT solutions and existing business systems, leading and managing engagement with stakeholders at all levels and driving business change.
- The Program Group Manager, Digital Health is an externally facing role that liaises and works collaboratively with key stakeholders including the Managing Contractor, Systems Integrators and solution vendors, Women and Children’s Local Health Network staff, Digital Health SA, and Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) staff to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
- The role is responsible for managing one of four ICT delivery groups that form part of the New WCH Digital Health Delivery Plan. These groups are as follows:
- Delivery Group 1: Project management responsibility for passive/communications infrastructure equipment in the New WCH that, for example but not limited to: Structure Cabling, ICT Rooms, WAN Links, DAS, Hospital Paging System and Government Radio Network
- Delivery Group 2: Project management responsibility for new fixed and active ICT equipment in the New WCH that, for example, includes: Nurse Call, Master Clock and Audio Visual.
- Delivery Group 3: Project management responsibility for new fixed and active ICT equipment in the New WCH that, for example but not limited to, includes: the Active Network (LAN, WLAN and WAN), telephony, unified communications, servers, end user devices, patient entertainment systems, patient information systems and message integration engine.
- Delivery Group 4: Project management responsibility for program managing systems and applications (clinical and non-clinical) that will either be, for example, new or extended systems either Statewide or WCHN managed into New WCH.
- The Program Group Manager, Digital Health translates the digital vision and strategic plans for their delivery group and the New WCH to facilitate the delivery of an advanced and world leading digital health facility. This includes critically analysing and ensuring any potential technical solutions are compatible with SA Government and/or SA Health standards and requirements across the Agency and the South Australian Public Sector.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
