About the Role
This unique opportunity as a Tuberculosis Fellow offers a meaningful and hands-on role in the fight to eliminate tuberculosis in Aboriginal communities and vulnerable populations across South Australia. You will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver culturally safe and effective models of care, supporting individuals affected by TB with compassion and clinical excellence. The role includes fully supervised outreach clinics in remote areas and targeted support within greater Adelaide.
In addition to direct patient care, you will contribute to the broader public health and clinical activities of the SA Tuberculosis Program and the Department of Thoracic Medicine. This includes assisting in the development of tailored care strategies, participating in case management, and engaging with communities to support education and prevention efforts. About You
You are a dedicated and skilled medical professional passionate about making a difference in tuberculosis care, especially within Aboriginal and diverse communities. Your clinical expertise, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to quality healthcare will help drive positive outcomes in both clinical and public health settings.

MBBS qualified and fellow or advanced trainee in respiratory or infectious diseases medicine

Demonstrated clinical excellence in mycobacterial disease and experience in TB care and public health

Strong cultural awareness with experience or willingness to work in remote Aboriginal communities

Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills with a commitment to ongoing professional development
