  • Base Salary Range: $70,293 - $74,914 p.a (pro rata)
  • In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Allied and Community Health Service

Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs. About the Role:

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of allied health professionals to support the delivery of high-quality therapy and care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with clinical screenings and treatments, preparing clients for therapy, monitoring responses to interventions, and leading group-based sessions. You will also provide client education, support administrative tasks, and contribute to the training of junior staff and students.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring clients receive safe, effective, and compassionate care, while giving you the chance to develop your skills within a collaborative and multidisciplinary team.

About You:

  • Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent.
  •  Experience working in a service environment.

Applicant Information:

  • This is a part time vacancy, working 37.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
