About the role: 

As our Nurse Consultant Vascular Access, you'll lead critical initiatives that directly improve patient outcomes. Working within our dynamic team at Flinders Medical Centre, you'll provide expert clinical guidance, develop best-practice protocols, and mentor healthcare professionals in state-of-the-art vascular access techniques. This ongoing part-time position offers the perfect balance between professional growth and work-life flexibility.

About you:

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
• Demonstrated competence in Nursing practice in the area of Renal Dialysis in accordance with the relevant standards.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Experience with quality improvement methodologies for clinical activities.
• Experience in evaluating the results of nursing research and integrating, where relevant, the results into nursing practice.
