About the role

Join our dedicated Rural Support Service Finance team delivering vital support to patients across regional South Australia. As a Client Services Officer - Patient Assistance Transport Scheme (PATS), you will provide timely, efficient, and compassionate assistance to patients eligible for travel subsidies to access specialist medical treatment. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and make a real difference in rural patient care.

How will you contribute

  • Assess and process patient subsidy applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with statewide eligibility criteria and policies.
  • Provide high-quality, client-focused advice and support to patients, third-party providers, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and positive outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in the Salesforce PATS portal and collaborate with regional colleagues to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, streamline processes, and resolve issues promptly.

  • Are you committed to culturally respectful engagement with Aboriginal communities and willing to undertake further cultural training?
