Overview:

The Project Cost Manager, New Women’s and Children’s Hospital Project is responsible for:

  • The oversight of Project capital financial management and reporting functions to ensure effective cost control, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and value-for-money of the Project’s financial planning and transactions. 
  • Leading high-level liaison functions to deliver information and expert advice to the Project Leadership Team and to key governance forums. 
  • Leading the provision of expert cost management advice and solutions to complex issues, capital budget oversight, forecasting and cost and risk analysis to ensure accurate, timely and complete financial information.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with key internal and external project stakeholders, and is the key Project liaison with the Project’s Cost Consultant.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC)  for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
  • A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.

Immunisation Risk for this position Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
