About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Revenue Officer to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the health service. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of hospital billing and private practice administration. This includes generating invoices and Medicare, health fund and third-party claims, as well as collecting payments and monitoring debtor accounts. Your work will directly contribute to the smooth financial running of our service and the quality of care we deliver.
In this dynamic role, you’ll also be responsible for processing debt waivers and write-offs, handling disbursements and funds transfers, preparing reconciliations and reports, and supporting compliance and efficiency activities. With a variety of clerical tasks involved, no two days will be the same. About You
You are a motivated and reliable individual with a strong customer service focus and a keen eye for detail. With experience in financial processes and sound analytical skills, you thrive in a busy environment and enjoy contributing to a supportive team culture.
Proven ability to build effective working relationships and provide excellent customer service
Strong data entry, computer and analytical skills, with experience in billing or receivables
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
