Service:

Allied and Community Health Service

Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek. We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs. About the Role:

Step into a pivotal leadership role as the Regional Clinical Senior Physiotherapist, where your advanced clinical skills and strategic insight will help shape high-quality allied health services across the Flinders and Upper North region. You'll support and guide a dynamic rural and remote workforce, driving improvements in service delivery, safety, and accessibility. Collaborating with allied health teams, managers, and key stakeholders, you’ll play a central role in developing innovative models of care and workforce strategies that respond to the evolving needs of our communities.

About You:

  • Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant Allied Health Profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant Allied Health Profession. For those professions requiring Registration all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations accredited continuing professional development program.
  • Provide expert clinical or consultancy services across FUNLHN.
  • Work with autonomy using advanced skills and reflective practice.
  • Support service development and redesign to meet evolving needs.

Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)
