About the role

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the Registered Nurse/Midwife to deliver person-centred care across a range of clinical settings. Practising within established guidelines, you will contribute to safe and effective patient outcomes, providing compassionate care while upholding all regulatory and statutory requirements. Your scope of practice will range from novice to proficient, allowing you to build on your skills and confidence as you work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare team.

Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will retain responsibility and accountability for your own nursing practice. About You

To excel as an Enrolled Nurse, you will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality, person-centred care and bring the following:

  • Registration (or eligibility) as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding (or eligible for) a current practising certificate. Completion of an approved medication administration program is required.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong prioritisation skills, capacity to recognise and report clinical changes, and the ability to approach challenges with creativity, flexibility, and innovation.

  • Experience providing nursing care in healthcare settings, and sound knowledge of the Enrolled Nurse’s role, relevant legislation, standards, and quality improvement systems.
