Overview

Are you passionate about community connection and supporting volunteers? We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Volunteer Project Officer to coordinate and strengthen volunteer programs across the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network.

About the Role

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Support YNLHN sites to coordinate recruitment, induction and engagement of volunteers
  • Promote volunteer recognition, wellbeing, and retention
  • Maintain up-to-date compliance records and reporting
  • Collaborate with site leaders to ensure best-practice volunteer management
  • Contribute to community engagement and improvement projects

You’ll be part of the People & Culture team and play a key role in enabling meaningful contributions from volunteers across our health services.

About You

You will bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal and project coordination skills
  • Experience working with volunteers or community programs
  • Strong organisational and administrative capability
  • Knowledge of compliance and governance in volunteer services
  • A passion for community service and inclusive practice

Relevant tertiary qualifications in community development, volunteer management or similar will be highly regarded.
