About the Role

As a valued member of the surgical team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, the [Insert position title] plays a vital role in delivering world-class healthcare to patients requiring plastic, reconstructive and microsurgery. You will utilise your specialist clinical knowledge, advanced technical skills, and commitment to excellence to support complex surgical procedures, patient care planning and recovery pathways in a high-performing, tertiary hospital environment.

Working alongside a team of leading surgeons, nurses and allied health professionals, you will contribute to exceptional patient outcomes through collaborative practice and continuous improvement. About You

You are a skilled and motivated medical professional with a strong foundation in plastic and reconstructive surgery, particularly microsurgery. You bring a commitment to excellence in patient care, research, and teamwork, and are eager to contribute to a dynamic surgical environment.

  • Qualified and Registered – Hold an MBBS or equivalent, with eligibility for medical registration with AHPRA.

  • Clinically Skilled – Possess strong surgical and patient management abilities, with specific experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery and microsurgery.

  • Effective Communicator and Team Player – Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and build rapport across diverse teams and patient groups.

  • Adaptable and Quality-Focused – Committed to continuous improvement, responsive to feedback, and knowledgeable in quality management principles.
