Overview:

The Office Manager provides comprehensive business support to ensure the New Women’s and Children’s Hospital Project operates efficiently, with strong coordination and organisation.

Working with limited supervision, the Office Manager exercises independent judgment across a broad range of responsibilities, including:

  • Leading and managing the administration team.
  • Handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Overseeing human resource management tasks.
  • Delivering high-quality project support and executive secretarial services.

The role also involves planning, coordinating, and monitoring office functions such as IT systems, databases, records management, office accommodation, and procurement. Additionally, the Office Manager establishes and reviews administrative protocols and supports communication processes across the Project.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC)  for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
  • A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
