About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our highly skilled Diabetes and Endocrinology department.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist – Gender Clinic, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional mental health services to patients within the gender diverse community. Your expertise and compassion will be instrumental in guiding individuals through their gender health care journey, offering invaluable support and care.
This pivotal role involves providing specialised psychiatric assessment and treatment for gender diverse patients. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing clinical expertise to treatment planning, hormone readiness assessments and ongoing mental health support. The position offers variety through consultation liaison work, community engagement and potential involvement in service development initiatives.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
