Overview
Are you an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment? Join our team at Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service, where you’ll provide exceptional clinical services, contribute to teaching and research, and play an integral role in improving the healthcare experience for our patients.
As an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Consultant, you will deliver high-quality care to patients while leading multidisciplinary teams. You will actively participate in clinical audits, quality improvement activities, and the education of medical trainees, interns, and healthcare professionals. Your expertise will drive innovative, patient-centred care, and your involvement in research will shape the future of healthcare delivery in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical services in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor and teach trainees, interns, and students
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and research activities
- Contribute to continuous education and professional development
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registerable with the Medical Board of Australia as Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
- Proven commitment to Obstetrics and Gynaecology and teaching
- Strong clinical, research, and quality improvement experience
- Ability to work in a team and establish regional connections
