About the role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sonographer to join our dynamic Medical Imaging Department. Reporting to the Campus Operations Manager, you will provide high-quality ultrasound imaging services across a wide range of procedures. Operating with a high level of independence, you will utilise specialised equipment to perform complex diagnostic examinations, applying your professional expertise and innovative scanning methods to achieve accurate results.

About You
We are seeking an experienced and motivated accredited Sonographer to join our Medical Imaging team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of ultrasound procedures, contributing directly to patient diagnosis and care within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Requirements:

Qualifications & Registration – Accredited post-graduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound and current registration with the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).

Technical Expertise – Proven ability to independently perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including specialised and complex examinations, with advanced clinical judgement.

Professional Skills – Strong initiative, adaptability, and effective communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams while also supporting staff development through training and supervision.

Knowledge & Compliance – Sound understanding of safe work practices, quality and safety in healthcare, medico-legal responsibilities, and cultural sensitivity in patient care.
