- Position goes over 7-day rotating roster, staff need to be available for Early shifts (0700-1500) and Late shifts (1400-2200) over a 7-day roster period
About the Role
Please note there are two roles available and flexibility on hours per week depending on successful applicants and possibility to work across both roles.
Central Staffing Hub ASO
As a key member of the Central Staffing Hub, you will play an integral role in providing high-quality administrative support to the team. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will assist with a range of critical functions, including rostering, staffing allocations, and leave management. You’ll work closely with the Duty Nurse Manager and other team members to ensure that all operations are conducted efficiently and accurately, contributing to the smooth running of the Hub.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve liaising with nursing staff and external agencies to maintain safe staffing levels, assisting with casual pool recruitment, and managing agency staff orientation. You will also support the generation of reports and perform other administrative tasks as required. Patient Flow ASO
The Administrative Officer Patient Flow is accountable to the CALHN Patient Flow Advanced Nurse Unit Manager for the provision of an effective and efficient administrative support to the Patient Flow Unit. The administrative staff will perform administrative duties necessary to move patients in and out of the hospital in a timely manner, such as admission, discharge, arranging transport and any other associated tasks.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual who demonstrates the following key skills and experience:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with staff and the public, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Experience in customer service, data entry, and administrative support, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of Equal Opportunity, Work Health & Safety policies, and customer service principles.
