About the Role
Join our dedicated team as a Medical Consultant in the General Medicine / Acute Medicine Unit, where you’ll deliver high-quality clinical care to patients within a dynamic and supportive environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing expert medical services that make a real difference in people’s lives. Your expertise will help shape patient outcomes and contribute to the ongoing excellence of our unit.
In addition to clinical duties, you’ll play a key role in educating the next generation of medical professionals by contributing to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training. You’ll also be encouraged to engage in research activities that support innovation and improvements in healthcare delivery. About You
You are a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Consultant with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, leadership, and collaborative care. You bring specialist expertise and a passion for teaching, quality improvement, and healthcare innovation.
You will have:

Relevant qualifications including MBBS (or equivalent) and specialist registration in Acute and General Medicine.

Demonstrated leadership, professional integrity, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

Experience in clinical practice, teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and managing budgets.

Strong knowledge of quality improvement, healthcare management, contemporary health issues, and patient rights.
