Are you a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse looking to take your career to the next level? Look no further! Our dynamic team is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager who is committed to providing exceptional care in a variety of health service settings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with our team
- Assisting in the implementation of practice changes under the guidance of our Nurse Unit Manager
- Providing leadership of nursing/midwives in the health service in support of the Nurse Unit Manager
- Undertaking management responsibilities such as performance management, recruitment, rostering, and financial planning.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be registered or eligible nurses/midwives with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding current practicing certificates
- Have a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience, demonstrating competence in respective areas of practice
- Have proven track record in supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Possess effective communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Excel in teamwork, prioritisation, and adaptability within healthcare settings.

This is a part time vacancy, working 64 hours per fortnight over a 7 day roster and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
