Term of the Contract: 3 Years in line with clause 52 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement
At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3 year contract.
About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated and passionate ICU Medical Practitioner to join our dynamic Intensive Care teams at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) and the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH). In this rewarding training role, you’ll play an important part in delivering high-quality Intensive Care services, working alongside a supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team. Guided by the principles of the College of Intensive Care Medicine, you'll contribute to patient-centred care while developing your clinical skills in a challenging and fulfilling environment.

About You
You’re a compassionate and motivated healthcare professional with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative team environment. Your clinical knowledge, adaptability, and communication skills position you well for a rewarding role in Intensive Care.

Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA and have a minimum of two years’ post-graduate clinical experience.

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, quality service delivery, and enthusiastic participation in all departmental activities.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and engage with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Proven ability to remain flexible, take direction, and contribute positively to both clinical outcomes and administrative responsibilities.
