About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Services team as Administrative Officer, where you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality administrative support to the Biomedical Engineering (BME) team, including managing appointments, travel, meetings, and stakeholder enquiries.
  • Maintaining accurate records and data systems to ensure secure storage, compliance, and effective documentation across the business unit.
  • Assisting with financial, HR, and procurement processes, contributing to budgeting, recruitment, and stock control activities.
  • Preparing clear, timely reports and correspondence, and support project administration aligned with departmental goals.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance administrative systems, processes, and service delivery within BME.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in delivering effective administrative support in a busy team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise across diverse teams and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, solve problems, and manage competing deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems, with the ability to use administrative tools effectively.
  • Knowledge of administrative processes and familiarity with records management, finance, HR, and procurement practices.
  • Experience contributing to business improvement projects or supporting project-related activities.
