As a Services Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the health unit by delivering exceptional catering and cleaning services. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving delicious meals to clients, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and supporting overall housekeeping needs. Additionally, you may assist with laundry duties, all while contributing to the comfort and wellbeing of those in care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, plate, and deliver meals, assist with menus, and manage basic food handling tasks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment, including general housekeeping and occasional high-level cleaning.
- Complete laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, ironing, labelling, and minor sewing repairs.
- Operate equipment such as washing machines, sealing units, ovens, and cleaning machinery.
- Support stock receipt, basic record checks, and reporting equipment issues.
- Assist staff across the unit and follow clear instructions to complete routine tasks.
- Participate in required training to maintain skills and safe work practices.
