About the Role

As a valued member of the Nutrition and Dietetics team, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of patients across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). Reporting to the Director, Nutrition and Dietetics, you will provide high-quality nutrition and dietetic consultancy services to medical, nursing and allied health colleagues, contributing to positive outcomes for patients and the wider healthcare team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the nutritional assessment, care and education of both inpatients and outpatients in your assigned clinical areas. Your expertise will directly support patients in their recovery and long-term wellbeing, while also ensuring evidence-based dietetic practice is delivered with compassion and professionalism. About You

You are a motivated and adaptable Dietitian who is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and working collaboratively in a healthcare team. You bring strong communication skills, a commitment to professional growth, and the ability to manage changing workloads with confidence.

  • Hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification with eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).

  • Demonstrated knowledge and competency in dietetic assessment and treatment techniques, with sound clinical and evidence-based practice skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Proven organisational and time management skills, with adaptability to manage caseloads and fluctuating workloads.
