About the Role
Bring your passion for communication and customer care to the heart of public healthcare. As a Patient Liaison Officer with the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), you’ll play a crucial role in improving the patient experience by acting as a central point of contact for patients, families, and staff.
In this dynamic and people-focused role, you’ll assist in resolving concerns, supporting consumer feedback, and facilitating access to services across hospital departments. With empathy and professionalism, you'll guide patients and families through the hospital system and ensure their voices are heard.
You will also support clinical staff by identifying and reporting service challenges, assisting with care coordination, and working collaboratively to uphold CALHN’s values of person-centred care, transparency, and respect.
About You
You’re a calm, compassionate communicator who thrives in high-pressure environments and is committed to excellent patient care. You will bring:

Demonstrated experience in a customer service, liaison, or support role, ideally in a health or hospital setting.

Highly developed interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage sensitive conversations, patient concerns, and complex emotional situations with professionalism.

Subject to relevant clearance and vaccination requirements
