About the Role

Join the South Australian Prison Health Service (SAPHS), part of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), where your work directly contributes to the delivery of equitable, community-standard healthcare to incarcerated individuals. As an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and reception support at Yatala Labour Prison – one of South Australia’s key correctional health facilities.

In this pivotal role, you'll ensure efficient patient administration, maintain accurate records, coordinate appointments, and liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including the Department for Correctional Services. Your work will support a vital health service that addresses chronic and acute health needs, mental health care, and substance abuse recovery—delivered with confidentiality, professionalism, and a commitment to service excellence.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-level administrative support in a customer-focused setting

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse clients

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with patient information systems

  • This role is subject to background screening, vaccination, and clearance requirements
