Reporting to the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist - Women's and Children's Health, some of your duties for the role will include:

  • Provide a high quality and timely physiotherapy service to patients in the Women's and Children's Division
  • Supporting and supervising AHP1/AHA staff and students allocated to the work area to ensure high quality, safe and timely service delivery
  • Develop and review patient information material in the clinical area to align with the latest evidence and best practices
  • Contribute to data collection, audits and quality improvement activities as directed by clinical lead and AH Manager
  • Identify, initiate, lead and contribute to service and quality improvement activities in collaboration with the Clinical Lead and/or AH Manager
  • Ensure appropriate documentation of assessments, intervention, and patient management plans

About you:

  • Experience in the training and supervision of physiotherapists and students
  • Honed physiotherapy skills in the clinical assessment and management of Women, Babies & Children
  • Well-developed and effective written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to relate to people of various ages, cultures and backgrounds
  • Experience in effective development, implementation, and evaluation of physiotherapy services
  • Physical strength, flexibility, and endurance sufficient for the manual handling requirements of the role
