About the Role:

The Enrolled Nurse supports the Registered Nurse/Midwife in delivering person-centred care consistent with regulatory and statutory requirements. Practice at this level ranges from novice to proficient Enrolled Nurse, with employees working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife.

While providing nursing and midwifery care, the Enrolled Nurse retains responsibility and accountability for their own actions and the quality of care delivered. This role allows you to contribute directly to the wellbeing, dignity, and safety of patients while building your clinical experience in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Experience in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

  • DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)

  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
