- Employment Part Time (0.5 FTE) - Ongoing Permanent – anticipated commencement from February 2026

About the role
Provide specialist paediatric rheumatology care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. The role supports education, research, and quality improvement while fostering collaboration and strong clinical partnerships.
Key duties of the role
- Deliver comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and community paediatric rheumatology services.
- Contribute to education, training, and research, while supporting teamwork for optimal clinical outcomes.
- Lead and participate in quality improvement, advocacy, audit, and service planning initiatives.
- Build and maintain internal and external partnerships to support quality patient care and outcomes.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Appropriate Specialist Qualifications in Paediatric Rheumatology Specialist registration, or eligibility for specialist registration, as a Medical Practitioner in Paediatric Rheumatology with AHPRA.
- Minimum of 2 years advanced training in Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology.
- Comprehensive clinical experience in paediatric rheumatology including the investigation, diagnosis, and management of complex inflammatory rheumatological conditions.
- Experience in collaborative research studies including recruiting, consenting and delivering care to patients participating in clinical research.
