About the Role

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives? As an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) within the Emergency Multidisciplinary Assessment Team (EMAT), you’ll be part of a vibrant and supportive team, working closely under the guidance of allied health professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). Whether supporting clinical services at the Royal Adelaide Hospital or The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, your work will directly contribute to the wellbeing and recovery of patients across a range of care settings.

About You

You’re a motivated and compassionate individual with a genuine desire to support patients on their recovery journey. With a strong foundation in allied health assistance and a flexible, team-oriented mindset, you're ready to make a real difference in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

  • Hold a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or equivalent)

  • Physically capable and confident in safe manual handling of patients

  • Skilled in recognising and responding to changes in patient condition

  • Organised, reliable and able to prioritise tasks in a busy team setting
